    searching comments and highlighting text

Is there a way to search through a range of cells and find text that match my search criteria and change the color of that text only?

if the text you want to highlight is the entire text within the cell, then, yes, it can be done through Conditional Formatting. however, if that text is, lets say a word which is a part of a sentence, for e.g., then i do not think that CF will work.

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
All good ideas are courtesy resources from this forum as well as others around the web.

Yes it would be text inside the cell and not the whole cell.
