Question Put borders at top and bottom of each row, but not sides?

I am using Excel 2010. I have 20 rows and I want to put a border at the top and bottom of each row, as well as a border around the outside of the entire range, but I do not want to have borders on the side of each individual cell.

    How can I do this?

Have you tried recording a macro?
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate

Highlight the entire area that you want the outline in , open the border tool at the top of the page on the home tab and scroll down to the full border and click, that will give you your outside border and then highlight all the cells in a row and go back to the border tool and scroll down to the top and bottom border, click, that will give you the lines that you need. Hope that helps
