    Conditional formatting for percentages

    Hello,

    I have a cell that shows a result as a percentage (between 0% and 100%)

    I want to highlight the cell in a different colour depending upon the result.

    I have set up conditional formatting rules to do this, so:

    Style = classic
    Format only cells that contain:
    Cell value between [value] and [value]
    Format with custom format [colour]

    With:

    0-14% being RED
    15-21% being ORANGE
    22-30% being YELLOW
    31-40% being GREEN
    41-100% being BLUE

    This is the orde that the rule is set up as.

    I have a value of 18% and it is being highlighted in RED, when it should be ORANGE?

    What have I done wrong? Is it something to do with formatting the number as a percentage and not a number?

    Thanks, Jon

    Solved it - needed to add a percentage sign into the cell value field. Simple really.
