Populating a cell based on one of two entries on a different sheet

I have 3 sheets in a spreadsheet and want to enter information in sheet one which will then populate one of the other 2 sheets depending on the information entered on sheet 1. As I enter items on sheet 1 it will then populate either sheet 2 or 3 with the same information. I would prefer not to have blank lines on sheet 2 and 3.

In sheet 1 column A I will enter M or O and in column B I will type a statement " The Dog jumps over the fence"

On sheet 2 I want column B to be populated with the statement from Sheet 1 column B if column A on sheet 1 is populated with M otherwise it would be empty
On sheet 3 I want column B to be populated with the statement from sheet 1 column B if column A on sheet 1 is populated with O otherwise it would be em

I have not prepared the spreadsheets yet because I want to first find out if this can be done and try it out.

This formula has brackets coz twas confirmed by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter, e.g this one is array formula.

Try link TODAY() with any cell with TODAY() placed into.
