    Need Weekly Sum Function

    I need a function which will give a product sum depending on a certain date.

    Please see attached.

    If I am understanding what you want, you want to find the number corresponding to the date, right? That is, you're not having excel perform any addition with SUM() or whatever, you're having it find a number that's an already-existing value that happens to be some kind of sum.

    That's just a lookup.

    Your equation does not work properly for 11/1/2012 or 7/1/2012 ...anyway to fix that?

    This formula would work in cell F2:

    NOTE: Array formula - Use "CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER"

    Your formula does not need to be confirmed with CSE.

    And the Excel 2007+ equivalent would be:

    =SUMIFS(D2:D23,B2:B23,"<="&E2,C2:C23,">="&E2)
