Decimal time quarters calculation help

Hi all,
Sorry to ask for help…but this is doing my head in.
I have time (Hours) in a decimal format allocated to departments that might need to be split say 80/20 between two departments.

If a person allocates time say 2.75 hours this is 2hours 45minutes. So I need to split that time 80/20 between two departments, keeping the same decimal format.

Do you mean:

=2.75*80% for 2.2 hours, and
=2.75*20% for 0.55 hours?

Sorry Yes. I have a very big list of times to calculate.

the rounding to 1/4 hours I can't get.
