    Display Issue - Is there a fix out there I can't find? (pic)

    This spreadsheet is used to track each team's balance ($) during a Fantasy Football draft for work.

    Cell A20 = $120 ---> [Each teams starts the draft with $120]
    Cell C20 = (A20-sum(E5:E19)) ---> [Calculates a team's current balance throughout the draft as they spend money (amount entered in cells E5:E19)]

    The formula works, but the value does not display correctly after each change.

    That is, after a value is added to any of the cells from E5:E19, the "Current Balance" cell C20 no longer displays correctly.

    If I scroll down until cell C20 is no longer visible, and then scroll back up, the issue resolves itself somehow, but this has to be done every single time a value is entered into any of the cells E5:E19.

    This image may explain this issue better than I have so far:

    Can you attach a spreadsheet? That image is blocked by my work filters.

    It's caused by the cell formats, apply 'wrap text' to the formula cells.

    It happens all across row 19 but that seems to fix it.

    I was able to replicate this, it's a pretty weird issue. When I update the values it looks like it is embedding the updated numbers over top of the existing numbers. Looks like a typewriter bashing new keys over the same spot on the paper. I merged and centered the columns under several teams and it seems to have resolved the issue.

    But why?! I mean you're right, and thank you, but I need to know! Haha, know what I'm sayin? Curiousity. What's goin on in there that it needs to wrap?!

    You're right, but I'd rather not merge cells whenever possible.

    That I don't know lol, I thought it might have been a result of having a formula centred across selection, but trying to reproduce the problem in another sheet isn't working

    A little more investigation would suggest some minor file corruption, it didn't need any format changes at all, re-entering the formula also appears to fix the problem, as does copying the sheet to a new workbook.
