Calculations from a filled table by one mouse click

Hi guys,

I'm new in forum but as I can see people here are great experts and like to collaborate each other.That is great! Briefly to the point - I would like to make something like this:

I have a sheet with complex formula in a result cell. I also have a previously drawn up statisctic table with some different values. For a speed and convenience sake I would like when someone just click with the mouse on a variable cell in the statistic table then automaticly the result to appear in result cell.

Is there an option or a macro, which will help me to achieve that? I really hope that I express myself clearly.

Yes, you can do that with DATA VALIDATION and VLOOKUP

Could you please explain me that as you explain to an idiot How exactly to use the VLOOKUP funktion with the DATA VALIDATION.
I mean will it show me the values that i want just by clicking from a list of data validated cells.
