    pivot table output structure

I am going to create a pivot table that shows counts by date (rows) and hour (column) with a filter for various location. I would like there to be 365 rows and 24 columns regardless if there is an entry for each day of the year or hour of the day based on the filter. Can the pivot table structure be set up to make this happen?

(I'm using the results of the pivot table in a formula -- if the size of the pivot table is different for various filter locations, I have revise the formulas)

    Thanks.

    Re: pivot table output structure

    Hello everyone

In data processing, a pivot table is a data summarisation tool found in data visualization programs such as spreadsheets or business intelligence software. Among other functions, a pivot-table can automatically sort, count, total or give the average of the data stored in one table or spreadsheet. It displays the results in a second table (called a "pivot table") showing the summarized data. Pivot tables are also useful for quickly creating unweighted cross tabulations.

    Thanks a lot
