-spreadsheet attatched below
I am creating a spreadsheet for the company i work for. It details all 'payments out' on any given day.
We do business six days a week and there are totasl for each day which correspond with dates in column A.
I require a formula that can be repeated that adds up the six days worth of payments and puts them into another table to form a weekly summary of payments out.
I have been trying to rework a similar formula some lovely person on this forum wrote for me but its not working like i had hoped
The original formula added several different payments in columuns, all broken down into days and looked like this:
=SUMPRODUCT(--('[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$A$4:$A$501>=$A20-6)*('[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$A$4:$A$501<=$A20),'[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$B$4:$B$501+'[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$C$4:$C$501+'[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$D$4:$D$501+'[Payments In.xlsx]Payments In'!$E$4:$E$501)
I edited it so it looked like this:
=SUMPRODUCT(--('[Payments in.xlsx]Payments out'!$A$3:$A$501>=$A20-6)*('[Payments In.xlsx]Payments out'!$A$3:$A$501<=$A20),'[Payments In.xlsx]Payments out'!$B$3:$B$501)
But it didnt work, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers
