Adding cells containing the results of formula (without any text)?

I am working on a spreadsheet for my husband so he can keep track of profit from his business.

I have cells that are adding the costs and subtracting by the sale price and then multiplying by how many sold to see the profit. Here is the formula:

    =(H2-(E2+F2+G2))*I2

Well I am trying to get a running total of all the profits but when I try =SUM and highlight the column with cells that have the above formula, it doesn't give me any value, just gives me error msg. (#VALUE) or something like that.

Is there any way of adding a bunch of cells that each have a formula? There is no text in the formula so I'm not sure why it's not working.

Hope this is clear enough. I attached the spreadsheet just in case. Trying to get a TOTAL amount by adding everything in column K.

    Thanks in advance.

It should work.. but just use this formula:

    =SUM(K2:K66)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

You entered "K2:K66" which is a range. You need to tell Excel what you want to do with this range
    i.e =SUM(K2:K66) or = AVERAGE(K2:K66)
    Does that help?

When I just put =SUM(K2:K66) it gives me an error message:

    Circular Reference Warning

One or more formulas contain a circular reference and may not calculate correctly. Circular references are any references within a formula that depend upon the results of that same formula. For example, a cell that refers to its own value or a cell that refers to another cell which depends on the original cell’s value both contain circular references.

    The formula goes in K67.

I updated the spreadsheet and the sum seems to work in the J Column, but not at the total of the K column. I put some numbers to try the formulas out in the first to rows, but it says FALSE in the cell where the Total should go when I put =SUM(K2:K66).

I'll upload the spreadsheet again to show you. (Thanks again both of you for the quick replies.)

This is what you have in K67
    Formula: copy to clipboard

You probably can't see all that in your formula bar. Clear the contents of K67 (Right click>Clear Contents) and put the formula in again.

You have 3 formulas in the one cell.. delete all but the =SUM(K2:K66)
