Help with Rank, Auto Sort Features (Spreadsheet Attached)

OK - here is what I'm working with: I have a list of 25 player's names, and related scores. These scores are used to determine a player's standing (1st place, 2nd place, etc), and the standings of all 25 players are available on a Summary tab. The attached spreadsheet is only a portion of my master sheet, but basically within my master sheet these scores update automatically based on various inputs. The first tab (called "Tie Breaker Enabled") is how the sheet currently works. I used some tricks I found on here to assign values based on a player's name to break any ties, and everything works perfect....Even the auto-updating when scores are recalculated.

Here is my problem, I have now decided that I want ties to be displayed as actual ties, and not have them broken (See tab "Allow Ties"). 10th & 22nd Place on the sheet are ties, but using my vlookup trick will not work for the auto-updating because the vlookup needs to be sorted (number 1-25) for the auto sort to work.

Does anyone have any ideas on this - I know this is a terrible description, I am hoping the spreadsheet better displays the issue....

    Thanks in advance.
