Conditional formatting: gray out planning bars

    Dear Excel-Experts,

    in thread

    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ning-bars.html

ChemistB gave me a solution to draw planning bars of a length given by a cell value with conditional formatting. This worked well until I noticed that the bars cannot be drawn correctly for the cells in the column numbers smaller than the length of the planning bar (see attachment).

Any ideas, how to bypass this problem (without moving the planning table)?

    Thanks!
