    Basic sorting with blank cells

I have a significant amount of data (2k pages) trying to sort by one column, of course maintaining relevance to all columns. Problem is.....in one column instead of wrapping the txt in a row some one has continued each what would be additional line in a new cell below.
So I have attached a sample of the .xlsx What I am trying to do is sort by Column D, keeping relevance to all other columns but as you can see column C was not entered in a way that I am able to sort the data. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance

    Hm yes.
What you will have to do probably is to combine the various rows in column C into single cells.
You could do this using a formula such as CONCATENATE

You can do something like this.. But this is only for sorting by E column...
If you sort on some other column you will lose your connections...

You can either use macro or adopt your table to some more excel output.
