Moving data from one sheet to another

I am using excel for marketing purposes and was wondering if I can transfer information from one sheet to another by clicking on a drop box I created. The sheets will be called; no answer, call back, no potential, disconnected, corporate purchase, mail out, up to date. I want to start with a list of our customers and be able to sort them out to the appropriate list. I just started using excel and have very limited knowledge. Any help is appreciated.

There are many ways of doing this, using formulae or running a macro. However, another way that might suit you as a new user of Excel is to use Autofilter, as you can then copy the filtered list to another sheet, and do this for each of the categories that you want to separate out.
