    Freeze frame from the right

In Excel 2007 is it possible to have a freeze pane on the right instead of the left?

I want to prevent x number of columns on the right side of the data from scrolling up and down.
The data I want to stay takes up several rows so a top freeze pane is not helpful.

I don't think this is possible but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Here is a workaround of what you are trying to do: keep
certain right-hand cells in view while rows on the left are
being scrolled. I hope the attached file runs as
bug-free in Excel 2007 as it did for me in 2003.
Press Ctrl+e To run the macro, which toggles between
two views: single window and double window.

That is definitely an interesting solution and does solve the problem.

I don't think it's very useful in my case though since aesthetics are quite important for what I'm doing.
Your solution for example can't be maximized for example.

I do appreciate the response and thank you. (I have given you positive reputation)
