    Conditional formatting advanced

    Hi,
i have attached an xl file. I have to do conditional formatting.

If there is any vaule or text in column b, then that row till where the last cell has got value should be highlighted.

For example. In the attached file, cell b2 is 1-sep-12, then a2:aa2 should be highlighted, b3 - b6 has no value. So that complete range b3:aa7 should not be highlighted.

    Hope i made it clear.

    Thanks in advnace.

    Re: Conditional formating advanced

    Hi fotis,

if b2 contains value the whole row should be highlighted, also if b7 contains value then this complete row should be highlighted, b13 contains value this also has to be highlighted, likewise any cell in column b contains value then that particular row should be higglighted.
    Regards,

    1) Does not matter if you are new in the forum. You can use the same way that you used here to upload the wrong file to upload the correct one. Don't start a new thread with the same question.

    2) Use ISNUMBER in CF rules.
