Link excel cell to folder in Windows directory

We currently link a single cell to a single windows folder. For example the column OrderNumber might have a cell called 20120001 which is linked to a folder called 20120001 (we make this link via right click and hyperlink). This currently works fine and allows quick access to the folder where that particular order documents are held (emails, spreadsheets, contracts etc etc).

The downside of this is the manual linking which takes more and more time as our sales increase. Is there a way I can generate these quickly? Dragging the cell down makes new order numbers 20120002, 20120003 etc however there are all linked to that initial folder 20120001. Can I make the hyperlink address change with the order number in excel?

    Many thanks
    James

I think a macro would do this however I am certainly not a good enough programmer to attempt this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
