Post formulae for date change - urgent help!

    hi there,

I am a excel newbie, so i would like some help.
I'm sure this topic has been covered somewhere but I couldn't find it.

I am trying to change the date for a calendar setup in my excel sheet.

Basically i have a blank template and it runs from the 01.01 until 31.12 of this year but i need to change the date of every day of the year, i dont want to do it manually obviously, can someone help.
There must be a simple formaula to follow.
Simple instructions would be great, like exactly where to put it etc.

    Regards,

Oka example You have 01/01 in manually typed into A1

In A2 put A1+1 this will give you 02/01.

Copy the formula in A2 across the rest of the worksheet and each cell will increase by 1 day across the sheet.

Then if you need to make and adjustment change the start date 01/01 to what ever the difference in days is that you require.

I need to change the date of every day of the year
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Are the dates currently for 2012 and you want them for 2013? Are the dates lined up with days of the week and they are incorrect? Where are the dates now (cells)? Are they where you want them to be?
