    Restricting the user to only enter numbers in a cell

    Hi, can i restrict a user to only enter a number is a cell, if so, how?

    Please can someone help?

    hi there again nav505. you can use data validation. select the cells you want the dropdown applied to (say B1:B5). go to Data -> Data Validation -> Allow: Whole Number

    or if you need any types of numbers, you can Allow: Custom
    =ISNUMBER(B1)

    you only have to use 1 formula for all the range you selected.
