Fetch Data: Return Multiple Rows based on Cell Content

    Hi there!

I am posting the example attached. If you see tabs "US" and "Jap" you will see a few users. The raw tab has all the data available. I need a formula/funcion (or even Macro as I cannot wrap my hands around the best way to do this) that will return all the rows based on the users in tabs Jap and US. If you need more info on the case, this is to determine user errors.

    Hi pdreyest,

I would suggest you to look into "Advanced Filter" option of Excel.. thanks.

    Hi @dilipandey,

I tried but I'm not getting anything but the users that are on that master list. I need this to return the rows of data if the users are found on that master list. Can you send the steps if you believe this works?

I have about 500 rows word of data and about 50 users on the file I'm working with.

    Hi pdreyest,

Here are the steps which I followed .. but using advanced filter you 'll get the data in current active sheet only

Go to advanced filter option, Select the radio button "copy to another location", select the criteria which is there on the sheet "US" (I have included the heading as well in other sheet), now choose the destination under option "copy to" with in same sheet i.e., "RAW" and click on OK.

Not working my friend. It doesnt return anything at all. I was trying to keep it in the same sheet and then eventually paste to the other tabs such as US and Jap in my original file but no luck. Is there any other way?

It worked in my case..if you see the workbook which I have uploaded in post#5, you'll notice the data from row 13 onwards and I got this using advanced filter only. thanks.

    Hey @dilipandey,

I was not adding the header to Jap or US in my report. When I added to the criteria, worked like a charm. I appreciate your patience and support. BTW - I added a star to your flawless reputation.
