    Need help only totaling specific headings

    Here is an example of the data I receive for total time incurred for specifc delays during production. The issue I have is I only want to total specific headings and omit others. To complicate this further is if more codes are added the columns may not be the same the next time I generate the report. So how do I do this?

    Codes Total for AB, TR, AS
    AB TS IB TR AS VD VB
    1.5 1.1 1.6 .9 1.8 4

    This didn't display well so the totals were:

    AB - 1.5
    TS -1.1
    IB -
    TR -1.6
    AS - .9
    VD -
    VB - 1.8

    Okay, like you said, the attachment doesn't seem to be related to your question.
    What exactly are you totaling? anything in Column with Header TS for example or is there some other criteria? How is your data set up (best to attach that example (Go Advanced>Manage Attachments))?

    substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

    Perhaps..

    =SUM(SUMIF(A1:G1,{"AB","TR","AS"},A2:G2))
