    How to populate calendar

    Dear all

Could you please help me with the attached file. In the sheet dates I will receive planned dates for Stage 1 and Stage 2 (ST1, ST2) of companies 1, 2, 3 etc (more than 100 companies). I need somehow to populate the sheet Calendar with those stages. My managers want to see how busy is each day.

    My kind regards!

    Re: How to populate calendar

    Hello
Take a look at my attached reply. On the 'Calendar (2)' tab I've applied some formulas that I believe return the correct values. I've created 3 named ranges for reference: ST; COMP; Dates. This assumes that each combination of Company and date is unique to either ST1 or ST2. If there are two the same it will produce an error and return no value.

There’s some conditional formatting to highlight weekends and a scroll bar to move through 2 year’s worth of dates to check the formulas are returning the correct values across the date range in the ‘dates’ sheet.

    Hope this helps.
