    Problem with balancing percentage totals.

    Hi there
I’m new to all excel, and was hoping you might be able help me with balancing percentages.

The difficulty I’m having is with trying to total a series of percentages in excel. (see row 34 in attached example).
This appears to be because I have converted decimal point numbers into ‘whole’ percentages. As a result, the decimal point figures are still there in the background, adding up to equal 100 %.

This is a problem for me as I need the whole number percentages displaying to = 100% .
Is there a formula I could use, or maybe a hidden row I could create, which would ensure the percentages displaying would always = 100% ….by either rounding up/down the nearest decimal point figure (hidden in the background).

Hi, You can round off the first three percentages (C34,E34,G34) to nearest 2.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

This will ensure the sum is always 100%
