I want to pull a row of info where there is a "Y" in a column onto another worksheet..

I have one worksheet with simple data and I want to isolate the rows where there is a "Y" in one of the columns and transport that data to another worksheet and for the life of me I cant get it right and Ive done some research and even asked a friend....I know this is probably simple, but I just cant wrap my head around it....

here is what it looks like :

You are in luck! There is a feature called AutoFilter that will do exactly what you need. Hi-light all the data on the first sheet (including headers) and select Filter in the Home tab. Then click on the pull-down in the column header for the column containing the "y"'s. Select only the "y"

This will hide all the rows that do not contain "y"

Copy the visible rows and paste in the other worksheet.

(the hidden rows will not be copied)

Ok I have one more question, if I add to this worksheet and someone this person has a "Y" in this column will it automatically move info to 2nd worksheet??
