Make Excel auto-log values every 1 hour?

So, I have a little project here.

First of all, I have a little table in my excel sheet, showing different stock quotes, which updates automatically every 15th minute.

I am trying to keep track of my little own portfolio, and have made several calculations, rounding it all down to one cell showing the total yield of the portfolio.

I wish to log this value every 1 hour (or maybe every day), does anyone have any idea how to?
I've tried googling, but no luck!

You could create an OnTime macro to perform the logging. See:
