    what formula to extract text from a long string?

    Hello,

    can anyone remind me how to extract the letters after the equal sign and before the & sign from a long text string. The text will always change as will the total string length

    tttttttttttumedium=cpc&wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

    I want to be left with "cpc" in my column

    I tried it and couldn't pull out "cpc". Here's my whole text string if you wouldn't mind to find what might be going wrong:

    /?source=ABCD10660&umedium=cpc&uadpub=Google&ucampaign=XYZ&ucreative=General_&_Misspellings=&pkw=keyword&WT.mc_id=ABCD10660

    It returned ABCD10660 instead

    ooppsss i think i can't tell if this will be usable
    first you said
    The text will always change as will
    the formula bellow will get the second = sign and the second & sign and if the position of the symbols changes the formula will not give you the desired output...
    but if the position of the two symbol will be always both on the second instances the below will give you the correct one.

    this is very long maybe someone could shorten this up.

    Welcome, again the formula will work if the position of the two symbols are on the second instance.
