    Is there a function that can color a block if that block is higher than another block?

    Not quite sure what you mean by "block" but sounds like you're looking for CONDITIONAL FORMATTING.

    I mean a square like A1 or B5. I'm looking for a method to compare results (for example football results).
    If I have these columns :
    A B
    5 1
    2 0
    1 3
    2 1
    Than I would like for A1,2 and 4 to automatically receive a green color (BG not text).
    I'm not familiar with the function last mentioned.

    Conditional Formatting: =A1>B1 format as green.

    Thank you for your quick reply. This worked for once cell at a time. However, I'm wondering if I can apply this to a whole column? I have not yet found a way to achieve this.

    Select the whole column first, starting with cell A1. Then apply the CF.
