    putting all relevant lines together

I put this on the MrExcel forum as well but havent gotten a response yet and time is kinda tight so have to cross-post.

I was working on an excel file with 100K lines in it, out of that about 7K didnt have an Artist name in there. This was getting really cumbersome though as the file kept getting hung, I assume b/c of the huge size. So I filtered by ones which didnt have a blank for artist, and erased them, thereby just leaving the 7K lines which dont have an artist. The problem though is that these lines arent together, each line is now a few hundred liens apart. How do I put them together and remove all the blanks?

    Thanks!
    Dan

When you mean earased them ---you probably just hit the delete button or cleared contents.

What you need to do is select these non-blank artist rows (with the filter on)...right-click..delete row
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
