Attached. What is the "extra border" to the left of the rows border and how is it controlled in XL03? Is that something regarding style? Some outline mode? Right clicking reveals nada. BTW I believe the workbook has traveled back and forth between users on version 2003 and (P.U.) version 2007.

Seems like you have some rows grouped/outlined...
selct rows..try data--ungroup--rows

You got me where I needed. I would have never thought to expand Data/Group and Outline, but there it is - ungroup. Alt-D,G,U for 2007+.Originally Posted by Ace_XL
