First, let me apologize if this has been covered somewhere. I did do a search, but couldn't see quite what I was looking for. This might be because I'm a relatively new / basic excel user..
I have a spreadsheet with a list of items on sheet one, and sheet 2 uses this list in drop downs.
Now, some time after the list was created, a decision has been made to change the terminology used. My question is: I am able to change the item in the list (say from cookie to chocolate cookie), and the new term now appears in the drop down. What I am trying to do, is have all cells where it says cookie, to update to the new term of chocolate cookie. Or - do I need to manually find each instance and re-select from the drop down?
