Customer/ Clients Payment Record.

Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I am looking to create a excel document where i can record payments coming in from a client/customer every month.
i have attached what i am using now.. but it doesnt seem to be great. i would love something that would.. say something like payment overdue.. or paid near there name instead of going in every month and colouring a square.

if i could then link it to some sort of invoice template that would be great too..
can anyone help me?
