Unhappy "Save as PDF" exports to old version of Adobe

I have Version 5.0 and 9.5 of Adobe Acrobat installed on my work computer.
I don't have permissions to "Change or remove programs", so I'm unable to uninstall version 5.

In Windows Control Panel, the default program for PDF is version 9.5 anyway.

    I'm using Excel 2007.

When I 'Save as PDF' it automatically saves as, and opens with, Adobe Acrobat 5.0

Is there a setting in Excel which allows me to change the default program to 9.5??

Zantax, I've been a geek now for well over 25 years, and to my knowledge, Excel has nothing to do with choosing the default PDF handler. I use Excel 2010 extensively for projects at work and wrote up a quick and dirty VBA Sub to print to PDF via Excel... Might not help you at all, but feel free to try:

Don't know if it's going to help you at all, but I'm pretty sure that these functions work with 2007. You'll need to point a macro to this sub, maybe make a button for yourself, but that's it...

    Hope this helps!
