    Question Sum Values If Data Exists In Neighboring Cells

    logvolume.png
    I have attatched an example spreadsheet to explain what I'm trying to do.

    I am trying to calculate different totals of volume depending on the diameter number

    I want a sum of all of the volumes that have a diameter between 40 and 70 in one cell and 35 to 40 in another cell and then 20-35 in another.

    How can I do this? I have tried several sumif functions but they dont seem to be working with multiple requirements .

    Hope I have explained this properly!

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    Here is a start. With the two other formulas just copy the formula and replace the numbers.

    =SUMPRODUCT(--($A$2:$A$12>=40),--($A$2:$A$12<=70),$B$2:$B$12)

    NOTE: If your Excel version is 2007+ you can use SUMIFS
