Filling cells relative to other cells

Hello, is there a way to easily fill a cell according to where other cells are in relation to it?

For example, every cell in column D should have in it the same as is in one cell down and to the left.

So D2 would have the same as C3, D6 would have the same as C7 etc.

Can this be easily done?

Use this formula in Cell D2: +C3
Since this formula is relative, you can copy the formula down and get the results you want
