MS EXCEL 2010, How to ADD SAME VALUES during the time of import using .txt file

    Hi,

I am using .txt source for importing DATA and all the data runs in only ONE ROW. I want to get a SUM when a formula sees particular condition. For example my .txt file contains :-

AccountNo. Date Amount BU No. Job No.
    4000 24.01.2001 35353 6572 9897
    4000 26.01.2001 35353 9782 9897
    4000 24.01.2001 35353 6572 7997
    4000 27.01.2001 35353 6572 9897

When I import the data using .txt source, First it will run 1st Row,then 2nd and so on... so I need a formula that when it sees "4000" in this example it SUM-Up values having 4000 account No. regardless whatever JobNo BU no. is.

    Help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Omesh

You should be able to do this easily using the sumifs function in Excel.
