    How to identify from 60 payments which 37 equal to a lump sum deposit.

    Does excel have a way or is there an add on that can sort through 60 or 70 numbers to identify which 37 of those numbers equal to a particular total?

    I apologize in advance for poor articulation but it's the best way I know of to frame the question.

    yes you can use solver which should be part of excel under tools
