How to filter a list to display most recent date only?

Hi,

Can someone please help - I'm trying to filter a list of account codes and order dates to return only the most recent of each account.

For example:

ACC CODE ORDER DATE
ACES-101 28/11/2011
ACES-101 21/11/2011
ACES-101 10/11/2011
ACLC-101 03/04/2012
ACLC-101 02/11/2011
ACOR-119 19/10/2012
ACOR-119 21/08/2012
ACOR-119 09/03/2012
ACTE-102 19/09/2012
ACTE-102 19/09/2012

This would become:

ACC CODE ORDER DATE
ACES-101 28/11/2011
ACLC-101 03/04/2012
ACOR-119 19/10/2012
ACTE-102 19/09/2012

I'm stuck! The data contains 25,000 rows so manual sort is not an option.

hi owend168, you can do a pivot table & your data can use a MAX instead of SUM
