Hairy nested IF, possibly MAX involved?

First off, people that answer these questions are amazing. For those of us who this does not come naturally to, you guys are doing a seriously good service (and my boss will think so too)

Alright... so if you look at the dummy spreadsheet attached...I have fairly cohesive formulas to try to figure out individual/accrued commission, but I just realized that column D will include all the listed sales WITHIN the 0-1.8m range, but not UP to. Say the last sale that falls within the range is 1.6m. I need the 200,000 that would be falling into the next range to be reflected in the 0-1.8m range. How can I capture UP TO this number, but only capture the what is remaining in the range?
