Compiling data from one column into separate columns

    Hello,

It'd be easier to look at the Excel Sheet attachment. The format found in the orange color is the data that I have, but I want it put into the format in the green. Between each 'formula' is a separate line (shown in excel file). I'm not sure what type of coding to use - I'd prefer to stay away from macros if possible.

    Thanks!

No, the data in the orange is pulled from a database, and I cannot control the way it is pulled. The information is displayed as given.

Re: Compiling data from one column into separate columns

Assuming the 3 columns of data are moved back up to A1 so the data actually start in B2 and the columns to the right are empty, this macro will create a new table off to the right for you:

Please Login or Register to view this content.

    How/Where to install the macro:

    1. Open up your workbook
    2. Get into VB Editor (Press Alt+F11)
    3. Insert a new module (Insert > Module)
    4. Copy and Paste in your code (given above)
    5. Get out of VBA (Press Alt+Q)
    6. Save as a macro-enabled workbook

The macro is installed and ready to use. Press Alt-F8 and select it from the macro list.
