Marked as Final that CANNOT be revised unless saved as a new file

I know there is a way to do this but I cannot locate it. I have a template file that will be located in a public folder area and used by many. I want to set up the security on this file so that anyone can access it but not be able to change the file in anyway UNLESS they make a copy of the file. Then and only then can they update the file. I just want to make sure that no one can overwrite the existing file loosing all of it's formulas, etc. I tried marking it as final but when you open the file, there is a button at the top that says "Edit Anyway". If you make a change you can save and overwrite the original file which is not what I want. I"m sure this is probably simple for some but I'm struggling finding a way to make this work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    How about this..

When saving the file ...File -- save as -- click on 'tools' -- 'general options' -- password to modify -- Enter password and click 'read-only recommended'
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!

That did it! Thanks. I feel like such a noob that I didn't see that. Thanks again so much.
