Floating Text Box

Hi guys

I have a spreadsheet which has a number of rows frozen at the top and a few rows and columns hidden. I am adding information dependent on late deliveries but would like to add a "floating" text box if possible which would stay in the same place when i scroll down to view the inputted data. The box will contain actions carried out for the reasons behind the lateness so they are always on view.

Is this possible please?

Can't you put it in your frozen rows?

i could do yes but as time goes on the text box will populate which will force me to expand my frozen area. Unless of course i could enable a scroll bar on it. Is that a possibility?

Yes, you could do that, though I don't think that you can have a forms textbox with a multi-line property so you'd have to use an ActiveX one which I wouldn't recommend (ActiveX controls on worksheets can get up to all sorts of naughtiness).

The other option would be to have a userform, userforms float so stay where they are on the screen regardless of where you scroll in the workbook.
