Multiple csv files into one workbook with one 'output' page

Could have been the longest title ever!!

I have to compile a report for solar generation to give to our customers and would like to do this on a 6 monthly basis. Getting data from our monitoring system in csv format with all the figures and titles in place.

I am able to import a csv file into a sheet and then having made a chart on my 'output' page display the data as I would like.

With very little knowledge of VB and excel macros I am finding this is going to be a very time consuming process and would like to be able to put the csv files into a folder and run a script to extract the data from the csv's into my pre-prepared workbook thus filling my report sheet with shiny graphs and tables!!!

I am more than happy to learn and try some stuff out but I don't really know where to start, I've read a few different help sites/documents and they all seem to do things in a slightly different way.

I am more than happy to put some data files on so you can see what I have to work with.

    thanks for reading

Would you like each .csv file imported into its own separate tab or do you want the .csv data all imported into a single tab?

    Hi Jakobshavn,

I have figured something out over a sandwich (and an email from a friend). If I only import the daily figures I am able to manipulate them to get the results for each of the graphs I would like.

So, what I still need to work out is a way of inputting daily generation totals to a separate sheet for each plant that I can call from a report page, to generate my reports. Is there a way I can enter a total into a box on 'sheet 1' for 'plant 1' and have it enter on the next available day on 'plant 1's' day list. And then so on and so forth for the other plants. A kind of data entry page for the daily totals, then I can make the report sheet look for the different plant sheets to make the calculations and produce graphs etc.

    Cheers
