Is it possible to remove the archived previous versions of a excel file?

Hi,
We have a password protected excel file that is shared at work, but the format of the sheet has totally changed, and we still have the archived previous versions of the file when you right click on it and go to previous versions.

So was wondering if it is possible to remove these to start from scratch?

Sorry to be thick - but where can I see where the archived files are?
