    Excel locked by another user.

    Greetings from India.
For the past few days, we have been experiencing an issue with excel 2007 and excel 2010.
Have a server and have some files residing on it.
Users access some of the excel files. When one of the user opens an excel file and starts to edit and work on the same.
if the same file is being opened by another user on the network, it does not show the "User Name" but says "Another user".
    Windows Server 2008 R2.
Users are on MS Office 2007SP3, MS Office2010SP1.
Some are on Windows XP SP1 and SP2 and some are Windows 7.
Have tried downloading the hotfix mentioned but of no avail.
    Regards.

Re: Excel locked by another user.

It happens in shared workbook when any of the user removes the sharing when others are working with the file.
