    Text Boxes

I have a situation where I have a scrolling ActiveX text box on one Tab in a Excel 2007 spreadsheet and I want what ever is entered into another ActiveX text box on another Tab within same spreadsheet - is this possible?

Also in a scrolling ActiveX TextBox a carraige return does not seem to work - is that not possible?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Re: Text Boxes

Select a cell (anywhere in your workbook) that will hold the contents of the text boxes. Give it a name (type the name into the Name Box, the box that shows the address of the current selection up in the upper left corner above the top of column A). Set the LinkedCell property of both text boxes to be that name. The contents of both text boxes will always be the same.

If you do not want to use the LinkedCell method, or you want the replication of content to go only one way, then it requires VBA code.

To go to a new line in a text box type CTRL-ENTER instead of just ENTER.
