Downloaded CSV shows wrong dates in Excel

I have a downloaded CSV file where the dates show like below when opened in my Excel 2010:

2029-07-12
2005-08-12
2012-08-12
2019-08-12
2026-08-12
2002-09-12
2009-09-12
2016-09-12
2023-09-12
1930-09-12
2007-10-12

a.s.o... I've tried changing dates to UK, US, Swedish (I'm in Sweden, using Excel in English) and within the different languages changing the formats (d/m/y, dd/mm/yy, dd/mm/yyyy, etc). Nothing works. The administrator (of the application from which I downloaded the CSV) sees the correct dates when opening the same file. My colleague here in Sweden, sees the same as I do.

Starting to drive me up the wall, any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi

Try using the datevalue function if your dates have been loaded as text that will convert them into date values that can be converted to actual dates. If it does not work upload a sample worksheet.
