    Skipping a cell help

    I posted this in the formulas forum, but I'm unsure as to the protocol on this forum. Below is my question:

    Currently I have a blank space between descriptions on my spreadsheet and I want to get rid of those blank spaces.

    I cannot delete the middle space so I am trying to skip it.

    Example:

    A1 = text description
    A2 = Blank
    A3 = text description
    A4 = Blank

    So on and so forth until cell A1600

    I'd like to have an output that looks like this:

    B1 = text description
    B2 = text description

    With the text descriptions coming from A1 and A3.

    Hope that's clear :-) help is much appreciated.

    -Ryan

    I recommend; select the sheet, and sort it. Note attached pix.
