Automatically moving rows up when the one above is deleted

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure out a way to have a spreadsheet automatically adjust itself if the contents of a row are deleted. Ideally, the rows below the deleted row would shift themselves up one to fill in the empty space whenever a row is deleted. What's the best way to do this?

Many thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a silly question!

It does happen automatically if you delete the row rather than the contents of the row.

But your request is easily accomplished with a macro.
