Question Formulas or Macros? Dealing with getting database records

Hello. I have this small project I am working on and I do not know what will be easier to implement.
I have an excel database with foods. (food ID, food name, price, healthy (yes/no), group (entree, side, drink))

Currently I have the user enter the amount of money he/she has in cell A1. Then when they press a "Meal" button, I want the screen to output one entree, one side, and one drink from the database that is within the correct price range. I am not sure how to start it out really. I never had too much experience with Macros/VBA.

    Any help please? Thank you.

    EDIT: attached a example file
